Meet the Team

Tom Inderhees

Executive Director

Tom Inderhees is the executive director at Travanse Living at Olathe. His duties include overseeing the community’s day-to-day operations and team management, hiring all department heads and care staff, and coordinating with the management company, Integral Senior Living.

Tom joined Travanse Living and Integrated Senior Living in 2018 after a 20-year career in the senior living industry, originally working in information technology. Tom is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and earned both his master’s degree in management information systems and a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Friends University.

Tom felt that taking on an administrative role would allow him to passionately serve seniors and make a difference in the lives of older adults. As executive director at Travanse Living at Olathe, he is able to directly impact seniors by creating a community where people learn and live happily.

An Indiana native, Tom enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, working on cars with his son, and spending time with his family and golden retriever, and is an active member at his church.

Mike Fraser

Director of Sales and Marketing

Meet Mike Fraser, our director of Sales and Marketing. Mike's main role at Travanse Living at Olathe is to develop positive and lasting relationships between the senior living community and the businesses and organizations in and around the Greater Kansas City area. In addition to attending various community activities and networking events, his day-to-day tasks  include helping residents and their families coordinate all aspects of the move-in process, developing annual marketing plans, and organizing marketing visits to the community.

“We are very excited and lucky to have Mike join our team here at Travanse at Olathe,” said Heather Haley, regional director of Sales and Marketing for ISL. “His knowledge and years of experience in sales and marketing will make Mike a valuable asset to our community and the Travanse Living family.”

Prior to joining the Travanse Living team, Mike was the executive vice president for Heritage Tractor. He also spent 30 years as the vice president of Sales for Hallmark Cards. Mike is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration and management.

Rachael Locke-Garcia

Director of Sales and Marketing

Rachael Locke-Garcia received her Certified Nurse’s Aide certificate in 2009 and is scheduled to graduate from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in health care administration in May. She brings nine years of dementia care experience and 15 years of managerial experience to our community. She gained managerial experience at Brookdale College Square as sales and marketing director. While at Brookdale College Square, Rachael was responsible for new resident outreach, staff hiring and training, vendor relationship maintenance, and sustaining good relationships with the families of residents.

Aaron Attebury

Maintenance Manager

Meet Aaron Attebury, Maintenance manager for Travanse Living at Olathe. Aaron brings years of experience to our team – experience that will ensure our community is well taken care of on a daily basis.

Aaron has overseen maintenance in a variety of settings, including assisted living and memory care communities, for over 12 years. He spent nine years as director of Operations and Maintenance manager at Tutera Family Communities. He has overseen maintenance, laundry, housekeeping and transportation services.

Aaron is looking forward to his new role with Travanse Living. “I am looking forward to this new experience,” Aaron said. “This is a wonderful opportunity to expand both my personal and professional growth, and I’m excited to be a part of the Travanse Living team.”

Aaron has lived in Belton, Mo., all his life. A family man, he has been married to his wife, Leslie, for 18 years. They have three sons, Jacob, Zachary and Quinten.

Michelle Durbin

Generation Program Director

Meet Michelle Durbin, Memory Care manager for Travanse Living at Olathe. Originally from Olathe, Michelle discovered her passion for working with older adults at the age of 10 when she would spend summers with her grandfather at his senior living community. 

Michelle has since moved to the Paola area, where she lives with her beloved Australian Shepherd, Scout. Working in memory care for nearly 15 years, Michelle spends her spare time volunteering for the Alzheimer's Association and traveling to Guatemala for mission work. 

Michelle's favorite quote is "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to share it," by William Shakespeare.

Teri Bechtold

Business Office Manager

Meet Teri Bechtold, our Business Office manager. Teri will be one of the first people you see as you enter our community, and she's always excited to greet residents with a friendly and familiar face. Teri will be able to answer any questions you have.

Teri is a Kansas native through and through. After traveling around the country as a self-proclaimed "army brat," Teri finally settled down in Kansas and eventually graduated from Kansas State University. When Teri first moved to Kansas, she lived with her grandparents for two years, and it's a time of her life that bred her fondest memories. In fact, it inspired her to work with older adults – "because they have the best stories and are super lovable."

Teri is married with two children in Kansas City.

Kristy Brown

Resident Care Director

Kristy Brown is our Resident Care director here at Travanse Living at Olathe. As Resident Care director, Kristy plays a pivotal role in our community. Her responsibilities include hiring, supervising, training and managing the performance of the nursing staff, as well as conducting and overseeing the completion of all resident assessments, medication administration and documentation.

Prior to joining the Travanse Living at Olathe team, Kristy served as Regional Resident Care director for 10 communities in the Integral Senior Living family. A San Diego native, she began her career in nursing at age 17, and has been passionate about working with seniors since age 12 when she started volunteering at a nursing home.

Kristy and her husband have two children and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors.

Amy Catalina

Vibrant Life® Director

Meet Amy Catalina, Vibrant Life® director. Amy was born and raised in Olathe, Kan. She has always had a passion for helping others and has worked in the service industry for almost 25 years. Amy moved to Springhill, Kan., 10 years ago to raise her children in a more country-like environment. Amy enjoys attending her children’s activities, such as baseball, football, basketball, volleyball and softball. She also enjoys the outdoors, fishing, camping and taking country drives to explore wildlife.

Rachel Adonis

Elevate Culinary Services Director

Meet Rachel Adonis. Rachel heads our Elevate culinary services program and works hard every day to ensure all of our residents have healthy, nourishing food options at all times. Elevate is a special program that creates meaningful connections through cuisine, transforming the dining experience into a culinary celebration that inspires the engagement of residents, families and friends.

Rachel’s love of cooking and infectious personality leave smiles on everyones’ faces, and the great attitude she brings to our kitchen every day makes her a joy to work with and be around. She has more than 10 years of experience in the culinary services industry.
