Meet the Team

Tom Inderhees

Executive Director

Tom Inderhees is the executive director at Travanse Living at Olathe. His duties include overseeing the community’s day-to-day operations and team management, hiring all department heads and care staff, and coordinating with the management company, Integral Senior Living.

Tom joined Travanse Living and Integrated Senior Living in 2018 after a 20-year career in the senior living industry, originally working in information technology. Tom is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and earned both his master’s degree in management information systems and a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Friends University.

Tom felt that taking on an administrative role would allow him to passionately serve seniors and make a difference in the lives of older adults. As executive director at Travanse Living at Olathe, he is able to directly impact seniors by creating a community where people learn and live happily.

An Indiana native, Tom enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, working on cars with his son, and spending time with his family and golden retriever, and is an active member at his church.

Jason Bowers

Elevate Culinary Services Director

Jason Bowers is the Culinary Services director for Travanse Living at Olathe. Following in the footsteps of a family of great cooks, Jason turned his grandfather’s culinary nurturing into his passion at an early age. It all started in the seventh grade when he and his grandfather would watch and learn from cooking shows on television and then test out the recipes.

Jason received his associate degree in culinary arts in Ottumwa, Iowa, and brought his skills to the East Coast, where he experienced “real” seafood and true Italian and Greek cuisine. It was here, in Providence, R.I., where he graduated from the famed Johnson and Wales Culinary school. He then brought his talents to Kansas, where he worked as executive chef with Dean and Deluca in Leawood, Kan. In 2003, Jason opened Café Trocadero, which won “Best New Restaurant in Kansas City 2003.”

“I am inspired to always grow and create the best product for clients, patrons and families,” Jason said.
